In Achill Horses, Jellett transforms the landscape of Achill Island into an ordered, expressive rhythm. Repeated curves and fragmented forms suggest horses in motion, with sea, sky and earth held together by her distinctive use of colour.
After pioneering abstract art in Ireland, Jellett developed a figurative style shaped by Cubism and her interest in Chinese art. This is among her best-known late works: recognisably Irish, modern, and full of quiet energy.

Returns: As every print is made to order, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us at buyirishart@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
