Print Prices, Sizes and Framing

This is a reference page. It sets out what a Buy Irish Art print costs, what sizes it comes in, what framing adds, and how long delivery takes. Prices are in euro, before currency conversion.

How much does an Irish art print cost?

Unframed prints run from €55 to €295. Framed prints run from €120 to €440. Stretched canvas runs from €79 to €359.

The price depends on size alone — not on the painting, not on the artist, and not on whether the original hangs in a national collection. A small 20x25 cm print is €55 unframed and €120 framed. The most-ordered size, 40x50 cm, is €82 unframed and €230 framed.

What sizes are available?

Each painting is printed only in the sizes that match its own proportions, so no image is cropped or padded to fit a frame it was never meant for. Five size families cover the catalogue.

Canvas

Stretched canvas, ready to hang, from €79 at 20x20 cm to €359 at 70x100 cm.

The largest sizes — 100x150 cm, 100x100 cm, 75x100 cm and A0 — are sold unframed only. Glazed framing at that scale cannot be shipped safely.

What does framing add?

Framed prints arrive ready to hang in a simple wooden moulding — black, white or natural wood — with shatterproof plexiglass glazing. That glazing is meant to flex. The flex is what protects the print in transit; it is not a fault.

Framing adds €65 at 20x25 cm, €148 at 40x50 cm and €311 at 60x90 cm. The larger the print, the more of the price is frame.

Are the prints numbered?

No. Every print is an open edition. Each one is made when it is ordered, so nothing is numbered, nothing is withdrawn and nothing sells out. A painting available today will be available next year.

What are they printed on?

Archival, acid-free paper, by fine art printers in Ireland, the UK, the EU, the United States and Australia — whichever is closest to the delivery address. More detail on the paper we print on.
